What s New

The ICE Zapper is a 220 volt peel-n-stick heating system that sticks to the back of any 0.80m - 1.5m metal dish to prevent snow and ice buildup. This model is an (always on) model that stays on as long as there is power supplied to it. Systems or in areas of rapid temperature changes where the (thermostatically controlled) model (also available) may not keep up with the temperature changes, heavy snow loads, etc. An additional can be used in severe climates or to ensure protection from snow and ice buildup.Simply place one on each side of the back of the dish to ensure that snow and ice buildup will not occure... and, for ultimate protection, you can even place it on the arm of your dish to prevent snow and ice buildup there as well if this is an issue with your mount and / or mounting location and / or your environment.

Sky to bring 3DTV to the UK in 2010

Starting later this year, subscribers to the U.K.s Sky HD television services will have access to a third dimension of entertainment.
Sky will be broadcasting content in 3D through its Sky+HD set-top boxes, the third such channel announced in recent days.

Sky will follow ESPN and Discovery, both of whom announced joint partnerships on dedicated 3D TV channels with Sony at CES 2010 last week.

Skys 3D channel will be the joint effort of BSkyB and 3ality Digital, the company behind last years 3D broadcasts of NBCs Chuck episode, an NFL game, and the filming of U2 3D.
Sky currently has 1.6 million subscribers to its Sky+HD service. But to access the new 3D content, customers will also need a 3D-enabled TV. Several models, many of which were also announced at CES, will begin shipping this spring.|

3D TV is certainly hot right now, as evidenced by the deluge of products and services announced or demonstrated at CES. But is it a fad or here to stay?
